about

During our recording session in Basel, 2011 we had the chance to invite U.S. based guitar player Fred Frith as a special guest. This atmospheric trip is best listen to in a very relaxed ambiance. Help youself if needed.

Review by Andrew Beard for indieberlin.de, March 2012: The track Alice in the sky starts off eerily, as if you find yourself floating off into the sky and suddenly see a mesmerising fluro-pink river above you. This trance-inducing song has a beautiful melody which is set in a world rich with ambient sounds. The Hendrix-esque distortions and feedback juxtaposed with the Tibetan buddhist-like ommmmmmmm´s of Fabian Gilser, as he strums the big double bass, sends you soaring psychedelically upwards. Just when you have convinced yourself you understand the cosmos, strange unnatural sounds crescendo to a roar and disappear, symbols crash and reverberate, the colour of the river darkens and the sky is stormy, everything seems so chaotic. But then a melodic piano appears and flute arrives from somewhere, there is harmony again and you find yourself walking with the bass line, back on the ground. Right where you started in the first place.

Three guys from Switzerland that love play and listen to music.
